Need to turn off the Facebook Chat feature? Here’s how:

Open your account. Look for the gray tool bar at the bottom of the window frame. See the silhouetted solid black head in the bottom right? Click on it. A small window will pop up. Click on “option” and select “Go Offline”. You will no longer receive chat messages. Want to change it back? Return to the silhouetted head and select “Go Online”.
