Nearly 1 in 5 Americans has a disability. Some have sight problems, others have hearing impairments. Some have difficulty grasping objects. These difficulties can impact a person’s ability to use a website. For example, visual impairment may make text hard to read. Physical impairment may prevent the use of a standard mouse. Hearing loss may make it difficult to make sense of some videos. That is why we offer our website accessibility improvement service.
Our goal is to make your website more usable for all site visitors. We accomplish this by following the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) that provide a international standard for web content. In addition, we can also help you to prepare an accessibility statement for publication on your website.
Website accessibility improvement service
Option 1: Review and Fix
This is the most efficient option for improving website accessibility. We review the website for issues, then fix them as we find them. However, if problems are complex, we will review these issues with you before making changes. Complex issues can significantly affect the look of the website. Other changes may have to do with content.
Option 2: Report and Fix
In this option we review the site and compile a report of the accessibility issues that we find. No changes are made to the website during this review.
Upon completion of the review you will receive the report with an estimate of the costs to fix the issues.
